Job Description

FarmRight Ltd is hiring General Hands for our new apple orchard development at Tōrea Orchard, located just 20 minutes from Ashburton. No prior experience needed — full training provided!

Job Description:

  • Orchard trellis & netting installation

  • Planting & tree protection (painting bases)

  • Dripline setup & irrigation

  • Tree training, fruit thinning, pruning

  • General machinery use (training available)

  • Follow orchard safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Physically fit and ready for outdoor work

  • Positive, reliable, and team-oriented

  • NZ work visa or residency (valid for contract duration)

  • NZ driver’s license preferred

  • Willing to undergo drug & alcohol screening
